Gladstone Dental Centre offers fillings for patients who need restorative services for damaged teeth.

Dental Fillings, Halifax Dentist

What are fillings?

Fillings are used for patients with cavities caused by tooth decay. Fillings can also be used to repair cracked or broken teeth.

How does the fillings procedure work?

Your dentist will use a local anesthetic to numb the area around the tooth to be filled. Next, a drill will be used to remove the decayed area.

When the decay has been removed your dentist will clean the area and fill the cavity with dental materials. The final step is to finish and polish new filling.

What types of materials are used for fillings at Gladstone Dental Centre?

We offer both amalgam and resin fillings. Resin composite fillings are coloured to match your teeth. Both are viable options for your smile. Ask your dentist which solution will work for you.
